Christmas is coming! With dinner dates, staff parties and intimate get-togethers, Christmas is a time to bring on the glitter without judgement. Here’s some of my favourite clutches to pull your outfit together. All available in Australia and Melbourne, and available online and in stores.

Annabelle Bow Clutch, Forever New
Soft shade of coral blush? Check. Shiny satin fabric? Check. Giant bow? Check. Embrace your feminine side with this, it’s just so pretty! Or if you want to soften your look (I don’t know, maybe you’re wearing leather?), this would be nice for that. Also comes in Burgundy.
Erin Embellished Clutch, Forever New
Christmas is a time for bling. For major bling. Here’s some arm candy, so either carry this and cut back on the rings and bangles or… just go all out. But why not?
Amity Clutch, Colette
It’s like an envelope clutch but slightly more unique-looking. I like the gold hardware in front, and the tiny chain means you can sling it on your shoulder at the end of the night (or if you’re taking a selfie, it’s very important, that one).
Cindy Clutch, Colette
Turquoise isn’t Christmassy (but it is very Tiffany), which makes it a nice bag for everyday use after Christmas. So if you’re a bit practical or prefer to have something that’s not so glittery, this makes for a nice option.
I would carry this if I didn’t have to fit a giant wallet, phone, water bottle, chocolate bar and the toilet sink into my bag.
Veronica Foldover Clutch Bag, Sportsgirl
A simple nude clutch that matches with everything. Nude bag, nude shoes and a sparkly dress – Pinterest idea!
Regan Crystal Octagonal Pod, Olga Berg
Satin with a crystal trim, and a unique shape. Why not? Not only that, this clutch allows your dress to shine while retaining some glam factor.
Marbellous Swirly Acrylic Pod, Olga Berg
Love the marble patterns? This one comes in black ‘marble’, white ‘marble’ and turquoise ‘marble’. Can fit an iPhone 6+, and probably nothing larger than that. But it’s so pretty!
Cupcake Bag, Dangerfield
Want to carry something whimsical instead of glamorous? This is definitely a talking point.
Personally I don’t like the obvious stitching, it’s not my style. But I know some people do like it so to each their own.
Dress The Part Mask Clutch, Kate Spade
Why stick to rectangle clutches? This clutch is both cool and glittery. Only problem is it’s an awkward shape which means you probably can’t fit too many items inside.
Ooh La La Powder Puff Bag, Kate Spade
OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS. It’s so gorgeous. Bring this old-school sling around with this soft puff. The round interior also means that there’s quite a bit of space for stuff too.
And you know those round poufs that are really trendy? Move over, these powder puffs more than make up for them.
What’s your plans this Christmas?
